Hibernation

We've just been hibernating this past month. Working on some house projects, hanging out with friends, planning for the warmer months ahead, hiking with Carmen, and sleeping. A rare sunny morning in Olympia this time of year...

Another beautiful batch of Kombucha. We love this Russian "mushroom" tea and have been brewing it for months now. It's actually fermented tea. The sugar in the tea feeds a colony of bacteria and yeast that floats on the top of the tea. It's rich in probiotics and oh so yummy!
