Australia: the wedding and Iluka...

The white Ibis, the Australian version of our crow. These guys were everywhere looking for morsels and human food.

The surfers were getting some sweet breaks!

An amazing beach in Yamba...

We took the ferry from Iluka to the bigger town of Yamba across the Clarence River.

Iluka Bowls Club! There is a lot of lawn bowling in Australia. It is a serious sport. Eric and I had to observe a few matches as Bocce is his favorite new sport.

Eric thought the little guy needed some help staying up in the tree!

The village had a special visitor during our stay. Many in the village had never seen a koala in the wild before. I guess they are somewhat rare to see.

This is a great big staghorn fern growing up on the trunks of rainforest trees. I'd seen these in conservatories, never in the wild!

Eric takes advantage of the waves on a borrowed boogie board.

From the place we stayed in Iluka, there was a nice hike through the rainforest to the beach.

The fisherman's Co-op where you can get yummy "flake and chips."

An artsy picture of an Iluka fishing boat. Iluka is a neat little fishing village. It has a littoral rainforest on one side, the migthly Clarence River and the ocean on the other sides.

This picture was taken at Kim's Hens Night (bachelorette party). Kim is the one with the candy bra, pictured here also is her sister and Mom. Eric went to Bucks night and had a lot of fun. The wedding was beautiful. I hope to have some pictures to show soon.

Driving on the left side of the road was actually quite fun. Our biggest problem was turning on the wipers instead of the blinkers. Oh and being a pedestrian is weird too, because you have to look Right first then left!
